A big 'Thank You' goes out to Leah S. from Fargo ND for purchasing my music through the Productiontrax licensing service.

Side Note - I think the licensor should have licensee fill out a usage statement. It drives me nuts not knowing how the track is being used. I've got the email address but am debating if it's good business to direct mail a person who purchased through a third-party. If you've read this tell me what you think using my "contact" page. Is it good business to email a third-party client to say "thanks" and ask how they intend to use the track?

Today I was honored by being allowed to participate in a converstaion with some great people for a great cause. Several musicians are active in the reformation of the Charlotte Jazz Society. This non-proft has the opportunity to fill a critical void in the Charlotte music scene; one of community outreach by professional musicians to both jazz fans and future jazz musicians. Best wishes to all those working to make this a reality.

I've just been informed that "See The Dead" is doing well in an online contest. Congrats to Robert.

After a few months of networking in Charlotte, things are picking up speed! Classes are underway at Winthrop, my private studio is gaining numbers (several students show MUCH promise), local producers and media types are taking notice (thanks to Jeff and Vaughan at Oasis, Heather at Paradox, Liz Malcolm, and Robert Fillion for your time and willingness), AND I've added two more production libraries to my list of distributors.

On the personal side I'm that much closer to being a father! We're 99% sure we're having a little girl this Janurary. Don't ask about the name; still thinking.
